The average social media user skims through a huge 54,000 words every day on platforms like Twitter, Facebook or Pinterest… and that’s just on social media! Imagine how many words you read if you include every site you visit or email you open.

All-in-all, that’s a lot of words and a lot of competition to get your written voice heard over the din. So why do we all too often see copy overlooked for the sake of the design of a site?

It’s what promotes your brand, establishes your tone of voice and, most importantly, speaks to your target audience.
